it was a girls week off and we had a great time. we went swimming and enjoyed the view. it was beautiful. coming back to the villa was always the best part of the night. we had a full house and it was still enough space and more to move around. the staff was amazing. they we so helpfull with any questions we had. thanks so much. we promised eachother to come back in 10 years.baan sii - july 2010

I have recently returned from 2 weeks at the baan sii villa. What a beautiful place to stay, so peaceful but close enough to the hustle & bustle of Patong. We had a group of 10 people using all 5 bedrooms. We loved everything about this villa inluding the villa staff who came & prepared our breakfast every morning & then came back after lunch to clean the villa. The villa is on top of a very steep hill which i only walked up once - if you are young & fit you will have no trouble but i would rather pay 200bht for a tuk tuk which took 6 people, about $1 each. It was only about a 10 minute drive into Patong or a 15 minute walk down the hill to the beach at Kamala. There are some great reataurants in Kamala and a few shops, a very nice local village. I am writing this review because when i was booking the villa i could not find any comments on it at all & was getting a little worried that no one had stayed here. I would highly recommend this villa to a group wanting a relaxing holiday but still being fairly close to everything. The only thing was that there are only 3 bathrooms (main with ensuite, queen with ensuite & the other 3 bedrooms share a bathroom). This was not a problem for us as we were all family. There is also an extra toilet, washbasin room upstairs. All in all we had a wonderful holiday and would definately return to the Baan Sii again.
