I have recently returned from 2
weeks at the baan sii villa. What
a beautiful place to stay, so
peaceful but close enough to the
hustle & bustle of Patong. We had
a group of 10 people using all 5
bedrooms. We loved everything
about this villa inluding the
villa staff who came & prepared
our breakfast every morning & then
came back after lunch to clean the
villa. The villa is on top of a
very steep hill which i only
walked up once - if you are young
& fit you will have no trouble but
i would rather pay 200bht for a
tuk tuk which took 6 people, about
$1 each. It was only about a 10
minute drive into Patong or a 15
minute walk down the hill to the
beach at Kamala. There are some
great reataurants in Kamala and a
few shops, a very nice local
village. I am writing this review
because when i was booking the
villa i could not find any
comments on it at all & was
getting a little worried that no
one had stayed here. I would
highly recommend this villa to a
group wanting a relaxing holiday
but still being fairly close to
everything. The only thing was
that there are only 3 bathrooms
(main with ensuite, queen with
ensuite & the other 3 bedrooms
share a bathroom). This was not a
problem for us as we were all
family. There is also an extra
toilet, washbasin room upstairs.
All in all we had a wonderful
holiday and would definately
return to the Baan Sii again.
