• Beautiful villa perfect for group getaway in gorgeous setting

  Can't say enough good things about this place! A group of 14 of us stayed at Villa Himmaphan from 28 april to 2 May 2011 (mix of people from the us, UK, Germany and India in their 20's/early 30s who work in Singapore)We highly recommend it! - great location: 5 minutes walk to the Bang Tao beach, 15 minutes walk to Surin Beach, 30 minute drive to Patong/airport - Perfect villa: large pool in the middle of the villa, pool table, ping pong, large kitchen/dining, cozy setting, big TV room with cable and PC with working internet/wifi - clean bedrooms - 6 bedrooms have their own en-suite bedroom and 2 bedrooms share a large bathroom (all very clean and modern with hot water), comfortable beds, good size closets, tv/dvd players - Wonderful staff: super friendly butler, Su and two amazing maids who cook incredibly delicious local cuisine (fried rice, tom yum, green curry, grilled fish, prawn, BBQ chicken, veggies) No need to hire a professional staff. The best food we had was in the villa itself! They helped us to arrange for everything from taxi rides, golf, directions, groceries... Katrina, the villa owner, was very nice and helpful with arranging us transport from the airport and the villa agency helped us with a smooth booking/payment beforehand. Some tips on restaurants we went to: Bang Tao beach for numerous beach shacks/bars for local lunch, Joe's Downstairs is a great restaurant with abeautiful setting, Lotus in Laguna is equally gorgeous (but very slow/bad service), Catch Beach Club in Surin for drinks, Stereolab in Surin for a great night out. We had an unforgettable experience at Villa Himmaphan and plan to go again soon!!!

  We had a really good stay at the villa! The villa is beautiful and very well appointed. The best part was the team of 4 lovely ladies who looked after the group so well. The butler,Su, was very good and took care of all our requirements like arranging flowers, meals and cars at the villa. Mai is an excellent cook and we enjoyed her Thai food very much! The Thai food at the villa was the best meals we had in Phuket. This team of ladies are a real asset and everyone was very happy with their warm friendly professional service, so a big thank you to them! Everything was great at the Villa. The only suggestion that I can give is about the air conditioners in the living/dining area. Despite closing the windows the cooling was not good enough and the villa may probably want to install greater capacity air conditioners for that space.. though that did not stop us from having a great time! We dined at the Bang Tao beach one time and in Patong but the food was very average there and we missed Mai's cooking:) The other place we really liked was the sea facing restaurant 'Joe's downstairs'. I would also like to thank Paul for finding the villa for us and for all his help in putting things in place. In a nutshell, it was a fantastic trip, one we will remember for a long time and we are sure to come back sometime in future. Please convey our compliments to the owner and the entire team for a wonderful stay. Many thanks all!
